Since then, she has served as ABC’s Chief Business and Economics Correspondent. It was revealed on April 2 that she would be joining ABC News later that month. She announced her departure from CBS News on Saturday, March 30, 2013, but did not specify where she was headed. Jarvis joined CBS News on April 1, 2010, originally as a financial reporter, and eventually became the co-anchor of CBS This Morning Saturday, as well as the CBS News Business and Economics Correspondent. Her most recent appearance on CNBC was on September 18, 2009. She worked as a general assignment correspondent at CNBC’s global headquarters. CNBC, the business news channel, announced the employment of Jarvis as an associate reporter on March 7, 2006. She contributes to ABC News programs and platforms such as Good Morning America, ABC World News Tonight, 20/20, and This Week with George Stephanopoulos. She began her career as a financial reporter for CBS News in 2010, and she later became the co-anchor of CBS This Morning Saturday. Jarvis is ABC News Chief Business, Technology, and Economics Correspondent and the host of Real Biz with. She now serves as a governor on the board of directors of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers.

She has written for Crain’s Chicago Business and Business 2.0, among others. Jarvis worked in investment banking and foreign currency trading before deciding to pursue a career in media. She later worked as an investment banking analyst at Banc of America Securities in Chicago. Jarvis worked on Citigroup’s foreign exchange desk in London as a short-term interest rate trader. Jarvis became the host of a podcast called “The Dropout” in January 2019, in collaboration with ABC Radio and ABC Nightline, which examines the growth and fall of Theranos and Elizabeth Holmes. Jarvis began a new podcast, No Limits with Rebecca Jarvis, with ABC News Radio in 2017. She contributes to all ABC News platforms and programs, including Good Morning America, ABC World News Tonight, Nightline, 20/20, and This Week with George Stephanopoulos. Jarvis is currently the ABC News Chief Business, Technology, and Economics Correspondent, as well as the host, creator, and managing editor of Real Biz with Rebecca Jarvis.
